Every year, young people with foster care experience demonstrate extraordinary leadership, resilience, and commitment to their communities. They are advocates, students, mentors, public servants, and changemakers who are creating a better future for themselves and others.

FosterClub’s Outstanding Young Leader (OYL) National Recognition Program honors 50 exceptional young adults annually for their leadership and impact.

More than an award, OYL identifies emerging leaders, amplifies their voices, and connects them to opportunities that strengthen their leadership and advocacy skills.
