Nevaeh is a dedicated advocate for foster youth, drawing strength from her own experiences in the foster care system, where she lived in six different homes by age eighteen. Currently a sophomore at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, she excels academically while actively participating in the "Alliance for Our Futures," which supports youth in foster care through workshops. Nevaeh enjoys making jewelry and caring for her 16 animals, adding joy to her life. Passionate about social work, she aims to become a licensed clinical therapist, advocating for adolescents and foster youth while using her lived experiences to influence policies that improve their lives.
