Kumayl experienced eight different placements over the span of 6 years and is now attending the New Jersey Institute of Technology, studying architecture under a five year program.
Kumayl is involved with the EOP community at NJIT and frequently takes time to spend with his younger sisters who are still in the foster system.
His goal is to become the first in his family to finish college, become a license architect, and become a mentor for children in the system and possibly a foster parent in the near future.
