Krystle Hodges spent 8 years in Texas's foster care system.

During her time in foster care, Krystle experienced about eleven different placements. She experienced challenges being labeled a "problem child", when she just wanted a home. Recently, Krystle was adopted. She currently attends high school and is also taking college classes. She participates in both Kid's Choir and Chancellor Choir at St. Luke's in Houston. Krystle has volunteered at libraries, school and is especially involved in her church. After high school, she hopes to go to the University of Texas in Austin where she wants to study science and animation. Long term, Krystle's goal is to own her own business.
