Years in care: 4

Jordan was placed in care at the age of twelve. While in care, Jordan spent her time in nine different foster homes, over a time period of four and a half years. She was adopted at age sixteen. During her time in care she served on the Idaho Foster Youth Advisory Board for four years, holding two leadership positions. She also served on the Bonneville Youth Development Council. Throughout foster care Jordan worked part time in customer service, while attending a local public charter school.

Jordan is pursuing college in the state of Texas in hopes of getting her bachelor's and master's in Genetics before applying for medical school. Jordan is pursuing a career in the medical field, working with children, as well as advocating for change within the foster care system. In her free time she enjoys debating key political issues.
