Earl Clark Jr.

He/Him/His

22 years of age

New Jersey Foster Care System

Earl Clark was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He is currently a junior at Rowan University and will be graduating with a BA in Psychology in the spring of 2022.

Earl has lived experience of being in foster care throughout the majority of his life. The assistance and guidance he received has helped mold him into a better person externally and internally.

Now one of his main goals is to exercise his ideas into the system to meet the needs of young adolescents today and the future. One voice can speak for thousands. As a member of the DCF (Department of Children & Families) in New Jersey he works with the Aging Out and Communications Subcommittee in efforts to connect youth with the resources needed as they transition out of the foster care system. Earl aspires to work with young black men to help them achieve opportunities for success.

“ Don’t give a man a fish, give him a fishing rod.”
