Chalyce Hurt was in the foster care system for 3 years before she aged out in the state of Idaho. She is Chair of IFYAB and has helped plan the D.C. conference as well as working with Idaho Voices for Children to get a bill passed. The bill that she would like to get passed is to help those siblings that are in the system to have an easier time of keeping in contact if separated. Chalyce loves the advocate works she does including speaking engagements as much as possible. She is currently still working on that bill and would like to focus her career on working as an advocate for foster youth.
