Breanna Avalos spent 3 years in the Alabama foster care system.

 

Breanna went through 3 placements while in care. While in high school, Breanna participated in FCCLA, Spirit Club, and the Marching Band. Breanna served as secretary for FCCLA, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, where she volunteered her services raising money for Christmas coalitions, participating in relay for life events, and many other events. Sharing a collective goal with FCCLA on making the community a better place.

 

Breanna’s involvement in the high school groups provided leadership skills that inspired her to pursue her dreams. Breanna’s goal for her family is to all attend college. Breanna plans to work on a degree in Phlebotomy to become a licensed Phlebotomist at a well-known hospital someday in the future.
