Anaya likes to write, sing, create, help people, and considers herself a spiritual healer. In her spare time she enjoys meditation and being out in Nature in any form.
Anaya has 3 years of experience in care starting at the age of 15 and aging out at 18 in TX; however, the effects of her time in care have followed her all the way to the age of 24. She has always known that her path was to be a healing leader and has spent most of her career working in childcare. Part of that work involves supporting her brother who owns a child development franchise in which she coaches a curriculum based soccer to youth ages 18 months to 10 years of age.
While staying at a youth shelter at the age of 23 she came across her first genuine organization Texas Network of Youth Services in which she currently serves on their Young Adult Leadership Council. This experience has been the catalyst of healing, being able to accept help, and having genuine trust and support along her journey leading her and connecting her to FosterClub.
With FosterClub she hopes to broaden and strengthen her skills to become a well rounded leader and youth voice for not only people in her state, but in all the states that she can reach.
Anaya is very proud of her personal and spiritual growth and healing which allows her to be prepared to do this work and lead others into healing from their traumas as well. She is very excited to continue to push past her own barriers of feat to continue to grow and help others.
