Hi! I’m Ronnie Owens. I live in Bellingham, WA, where I enjoy helping people solve problems and going on adventures with my family. I have a treehouse and, surprisingly, worked as a pastry chef for three years!

I became interested in this work when the web was still a new frontier with endless possibilities. I feel pride when I help someone optimize their workflow and streamline their processes. Through my role at FosterClub, I hope to enhance my ability to provide support and solutions to the community.

Before joining FosterClub, Ronnie was the Director of Information Technology at the Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. At ARCUS, he developed and maintained the web platform for PolarTREC, a professional development program that connects educators with researchers in the polar regions. The platform supported journal entries, media integration, and a resource repository where educators shared their fieldwork experiences and created lesson plans aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). It also fostered long-term collaborations between scientists and educators, increasing awareness about polar science and transforming how STEM is taught in classrooms.
