Taylor Barnett is a dedicated advocate for youth in foster care, drawing on her own experiences to help others navigate the system. She entered foster care at the age of seven and spent a total of 10 years in care, including a brief period living with her biological family. Taylor went on to attend college in Phoenix, where she was still involved in policy reform efforts and served as a Treasurer and Historian on the Idaho Foster Youth Advisory Board.

As an advocate, Taylor has spoken on panels, camps/trainings, and conferences across the country, including in Idaho, Oregon, and Florida. She has also participated in advocacy efforts in a number of other states. Taylor's experiences in care were generally positive, but she recognizes that there is always room for improvement. She is committed to using her voice to empower other youth in care and ensure that they have access to the resources and support they need.
When she's not advocating for foster youth, Taylor works as a Senior Property Manager for Greystar, the largest property management company in the world. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, paddle boarding, camping, cooking new recipes, and traveling. Taylor has already visited 22 states and hopes to visit them all.
