Stephanie entered foster care about three years due to her mother’s drug abuse.
She moved in with a relative and continued to attend high school. Stephanie is now a senior with perfect attendance and a cumulative GPA of 4.0. Stephanie has also been a member of the National Honor Society and the student counsel. Currently she is the President of the class counsel.
Stephanie not only excels at school, but is also involved in several sports and plays at the varsity level. She has played volleyball, basketball, and tennis throughout her high school career. Stephanie is also currently playing full contact football through a community league. She is also active in her community, regularly volunteering at the humane society as well as working on neighborhood and graffiti clean-up.
Stephanie wants to be a veterinarian, and has earned a full scholarship to Tufts University in Boston. She is a highly motivated young person who is an inspiration to many. She is motivated by her desire to succeed and help others.
