When she is not scheming to change the world for the betterment for all, you can find her chasing around her daughter, at her sewing table, or in the kitchen. Sharanda is a happy enthusiast, writer, activist, mother... and a foster kid.
Sharanda is a foster care alumni that spent five years in Arkansas’s foster care system. Having spent most of her time in foster care separated from her siblings in facilities and group homes due to lack of available foster homes, when she began to live independently, she began her adventure to find newfound permanency and stability. With this, Sharanda has made it a lifelong goal to advocate and champion for those who find themselves in a similar place.
