Sade and her siblings were removed from her mother’s care when Sade was only a oneyear old, as her mother was unable to properly care for her and her siblings. She had a kinship placement with her aunt until her aunt relinquished guardianship rights. After a total of 7 years in the foster care system, Sade aged out at 18 years old. She is now a successful senior in college at the University of Michigan, majoring in English and Sociology. Sade is a Star Trek fanatic and hopes to meet William Shatner one day.
