Sabrina is a passionate advocate for child welfare, with professional experience in advocacy, policy, and resource allocation. She has held key roles at WIN NYC, the National Foster Youth Institute, and SCO Family of Services. As the founder of Nyasha's Promise, a nonprofit supporting expecting mothers experiencing homelessness and transitioning out of care, she aims to prevent harmful placements through community intervention. Sabrina received the Families Together NYS' Youth Peer Advocate of the Year Award for 2024 and is committed to amplifying the voices of youth advocates, fostering conversations, and dismantling harmful practices within the system.
