Olivia spent 3 years in the foster care system before being reunited with her Mother. She is currently working towards her bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management at Ferris State University. On her campus she is involved in a group called Ferris Youth Initiative. This is dedicated to supporting the young adults at Ferris on navigating the life of being a college student. The Foster Youth Initiative is what led Olivia to begin her Advocacy journey. Although just starting out, in the past Olivia has spoken to youth about her experience as a college student formally in care at The Michigan Teen Conference, educating them on the many scholarships, and opportunities. Olivia has also been privileged to network with people who aid in the success of youth in college while attending the Fostering Futures Scholarship 2024 MET. When not working on her advocacy journey Olivia loves to spend her free time at the gym, or with her close friends.
