Olivia Burris spent a year in the Pennsylvania foster care system. During Olivia’s time at Valley Youth House Warminster Youth Shelter, she achieved resident of the week, month awards, house representative, as well as organized groups and outings for the fellow youth. Olivia was also apart of The Synergy Project which is a non-profit organization run by Valley Youth House. The assisted runaway and homeless youth ranging from ages 13-21. Olivia helps by informing them about all the resources in their area, sorting donations, constructing care packs, and passing them out to youth in need. Oliva plans on becoming a chef and will soon begin attending Johnson & Wales University-Denver seeking a culinary arts degree.
