Nia lives in Pittsburgh PA and has 13 years of lived experience in foster care. She enjoys singing, writing, art, and nature. In her spare time, you might find Nia writing poetry or taking a walk. Nia became interested in advocacy work as a result of her experiences while in the foster care system. She hopes to be the role model she needed when she was younger for youth who are currently experiencing the system. Through her work at FosterClub, Nia hopes to become more skilled in peer to peer services to help as many youth with lived experience as she can.
