Kris was in foster care for 6 years. He has overcome major adversity and reaches out to help young people with enthusiasm and compassion. He plans to graduate this spring with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He has a 3.52 GPA and wants to return to University of Central Oklahoma in 2017 to pursue a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He wants to begin his career in local law enforcement programing into training and administration, eventually he would like a teaching or training position. Kris is an Alpha Phi Sigma member and a Gamma Beta Phi honor society member. He is president of Ris4Thursday at UCO, and helps with projects for the Cleveland County Oklahoma DHS Independent Living Program. He is active in a life skills group with Oklahoma Foster Youth Advocates Program and a contracted training and facilitator for leadership council.
