KimAlysha Seligmiller, Age 23 Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Kimmy is a fierce poet. She was placed in the New York State Foster Care System at the age of 2 and aged out at 21 with experience in foster homes, residential treatment centers, and group home settings. Kimmy was blessed with a forever family through You Gotta Believe in December of 2021. Kimmy is the first Garson’s Advocate graduate and serves as an advocate with the Nobody Ages Out Division at YGB. She has participated in numerous foster MAPP Classes sharing foster youth voice, facilitated workshops for social workers and parents for NACAC, and is currently on the Youth Advisory Board for Families Together.
