Kamille entered care at the age of 14 and remains in foster care today. She is currently enrolled at the University of Michigan, and hopes to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Kamille's long-term goal is to obtain a Masters degree in Social Work. Kamille works with the Blavin Scholars Program, which is a scholarship program for youth affiliated with the foster care system. She volunteers her time doing community service with The Black Student Union (BSU), Black Undergraduate Law Associations (BULA), the Michigan Gospel Chorale (MGC), the Multicultural Council, the University of Michigan Admissions Office and other student organizations.

She also created her own organization called Virtuous, whose mission is to provide service and support for the community by putting on inexpensive or free concerts and events. Kamille has performed many speaking engagements at conferences, Foster Youth Summits, and her high school graduation ceremony. She enjoys raising awareness and advocating for youth in the foster care system. When she's not studying or working, she spends time dancing, acting and modeling
