Joshua Cleveland spent 8 years in the South Carolina foster care system.

After spending eight years in the South Carolina foster care system, Joshua is an active foster care advocate. He experienced multiple group homes and foster home placements, but still managed to focus on education and graduate high school. Currently, he is the state representative for the Foster’s Leaders Movement and has been on the state youth advisory board Go Out And Learn Life (G.O.A.L.L.). Joshua is a positive and encouraging example to other young foster youth. He enjoys radio blogging and is interested in joining the Peace Corps.
