Jessica entered Minnesota's foster care system where she was separated from her siblings at the age of 9. Jessica was adopted at the age of 15 with her younger brother. After high school graduation, she has been working on achieving her dream of changing the world by volunteering and advocating. She currently completed her second year at Luther College in Decorah, IA and is majoring in Social Work and Business Management. Today, Jessica is a part of the women's track and field team and the Tau Delta Gamma sorority where she holds an executive position. She works hard and is very dedicated in everything she does. She also maintains a close relationship with her older brother. Jessica is a Christian, a sister, an athlete, an explorer ... and a foster youth.
