Evangelina Bolden-Whiteside spent 2 years in the California foster care system. Evangelina had 1 placement, which is where she was adopted.Evangelina is in her 3rd year of higher education at California State University.

Evangelina volunteers with many organizations such as Echoes of Hope, Foster Care Counts, Promoting Achievements Through Hope (PATH), Black Student Union (BSU), Generation Act Club, School Readiness State Preschool, La Petite Daycare, Battered Women’s Shelters, the Young Worker’s Leadership Academy (YWLA), and the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).

In everything Evangelina applies her outstanding leadership skills she finds her success to be inspiring for her and others surrounding her, she hopes to create her own Preschool called “Moo Moos Preschool” where she can continue her leadership and continue to inspire those she works with.
