Donald Robinson spent 5 years in Pennsylvania's foster care system.
Donald is an athlete, a scholar, a music enthusiast ... and a foster kid.

Donald is a former 2011 FosterClub All-Star. He was in the Allegheny
County (Pennsylvania) foster care system for 8 years until aging out
at 21. Using track and field as his stability point, he toured
across 4 high schools, eventually landing himself at Slippery Rock
University earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and
Philosophy. Finishing a great 4 years to reboot his life getting
involved with a variety of life-changing opportunities, he attended
the University of Texas to earn his Master's in Sports Science and
Nutrition. In that experience, he took his forced familiarity with
traveling to enhance his career, covering 4 countries in Central
America and East Africa, coaching in 2 of them.

Currently, Donald owns and operates Global Human Performance, where he
coaches athletes to improve their physical ability and reduce injury
risk on the game field as well as assists non-athletes to improve
their health and lifestyles. Via GHP, Donald also consults overseas
with numerous coaches on improving their athletes. He also serves
Allegheny County CYF as an Educational Liaison where he assists youth
in care 14-23 with high school retention, post-secondary school
planning, and independent living. In keeping with his life saving
passion, he coaches high school track at Woodland Hills HS and has
been a long time coach with River City Elite Track Club since his
college days after running with the team in high school.

When not serving others, Donald serves himself by indulging in playing
ultimate frisbee, driving with his windows down and music extremely
loud, hiking, playing spades with friends, hanging with his sister and
nephew, traveling to new places and eating cheesecake.

Donald is a certified strength and conditioning coach, USA track and
field certified coach and has to date 10/2017 traveled to 6 countries
