Divina Cordeiro, Age 19 Pronouns: He/They
Divina was born in Boston, MA., and has been involved in the system since the age of thirteen. This lived experience informs their emphasis on compassion and community strengthening when engaged in advocacy work. They served on Boston CASA’s YAB and have given several speeches on lived experience. Divina has also interned at the MA State House, was accepted into TUFTS Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research program as a Community Evaluator, and has co-organized an action at their State House for inclusive education. Their biggest passion is imagining a better world, one free of oppression, and they hope to work towards that world with their advocacy.
