Dianna Portee- Mason spent 8 years in Maryland's foster care system.

Dianna has spent a majority of her life in the foster care system. She has transitioned out of care at the end of last year and currently is in her own apartment. Dianna is currently enrolled in college and in work full time. As a leader, she has an active role on her local youth advisory board, the state advisory board for Maryland, and was involved in her local teen conference each year.

Long term, Dianna would like to obtain an MBA (masters of business administration), start a family with foster children and children of her own, and manage a Fortune 500 company. She is a leader in her community and will continue to fight to reduce homelessness for foster youth transitioning out of care
