Dalashay Whitehead was in the foster care system for 13 years in Pennsylvania. Dalashay worked as a camp counselor for Pine Valley Bible Camp where Dalashay attended at the age of  8. Dalashay loves to dance and always has. She works at a dance studio and served as the Drill Team captain at Geneva College for 2 years. Dalashay will soon graduate from Geneva College with a Bachelor’s Degree.  Dalashay is completing her student teaching this semester, and plans on becoming a teacher for the at-risk youth in Pittsburgh, and would like to become a mother in the future to build the permanent relationships she dreamed of as a child.
