He/Him
13 year in care
Christian is a youth advocate from Michigan with over four years of experience advocating for foster youth. Christian entered the foster care system in 2011 and initially lacked knowledge about his rights and the impact he could have on others. A mentor helped him realize the power of his voice in creating positive change. Currently, he serves as the Head Youth Advocate at EFY-Tech, where he collaborates with his team to address legislative measures affecting foster youth, including successfully advocating for the bill package HB4676 in Lansing. Christian also volunteers at the Park West Foundation, helping to provide essential items like clothing and hygiene products to those in need. His future goal is to establish a residential independent living property that will educate, support, and empower foster youth using his advocacy experience.
