Briana Granese was placed in the foster system at the age of twelve in Pennsylvania. Things for her seemed to have went from bad to worse until she turned seventeen. During the first five years in foster care, she went through a lot of struggles and it wasn’t until she started her own family that she understood what she needed to do. Briana became involved in many organizations and with her community. She was able to go through college and graduate. She is now working at Vanguard and is doing everything in her power to keep going forward for her son. The future for her is to go for a degree in in business administration so she can keep moving up in the company.
