He/Him

9 years in care

Brayden is a dedicated advocate for youth in the foster care system in Oregon. At 21 years old, he has experienced over 27 placements in various settings, including group homes and independent living programs. Despite these challenges, Brayden has become a strong voice for change.

He is actively involved with organizations like Youth Villages and OnPoint Community Credit Union to provide support and education for youth aging out of care. He has organized events, led community hikes, and spoken at conferences to help young people feel empowered and informed about their rights.

Looking ahead, Brayden aims to work in environmental conservation and become a role model for youth. He also hopes to become a foster parent in the future, providing guidance and support to the next generation.
