Ashlyn is a former foster youth from Oregon, where she spent five years in the system across about ten placements. Now living with her fiancé and his family, she is focused on building a brighter future. Ashlyn is currently preparing to start college, aiming for a medical assistant degree and a teaching degree to become an elementary school teacher and make a positive impact on young students. Committed to giving back, she has volunteered at the Humane Society, earned the National Honor Society award, participated in the "Sync" program with FosterClub, and assisted local churches. Ashlyn hopes to inspire others through her journey in education.
