Ashley Strange was placed in foster care at the age of fifteen in the District of Columbia. She was in two different homes and during that time was able to have help with a learning disability that changed her perspective on school. She currently works in the Office of Councilmember David Grosso after completing high school and college. During Christmas time, she was able to create over sixty care packages for youth. Ashley’s future is filled with helping as many youths as possible and to go back to school for broadcast journalism.
