Ashley was removed from her home at the age of 15, lived in four different placements, then was adopted at the age of 17. She says, “Once the paperwork was complete, I lived with my new family for 6 months, and on February 1, 2006 I was adopted! I had a whole new family.” She currently attends school at North Georgia College and State University, where she hopes to obtain her Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Future plans include pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration. In addition to a busy college life, Ashley is the preschool choir teacher in her church, holds the Philanthropy Chair for her sorority, and is the Grant Administrator for the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission. When she has some down time her favorite activity is to hang out and watch movies.
