Ash Fayal is a foster care advocate, community leader, and student dedicated to improving outcomes for youth in the child welfare system. With lived experience in foster care, Ash brings critical insight to policy conversations and works to ensure youth voices are included in decisions that shape their futures.
Ash serves in multiple leadership roles, including Nevada’s Statewide Youth Advisory Board, the Sixth Judicial District Community Improvement Council, and the Children’s Justice Act Task Force. In these roles, Ash collaborates with judges, attorneys, and policymakers to address system challenges and advance solutions for youth in care.
Ash also has professional experience supporting youth and families through nonprofit work, including roles as Programs Coordinator at Nevada Outdoor School and Site Coordinator with Communities In Schools of Nevada.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Great Basin College, Ash remains committed to advancing policies that promote stability, opportunity, and long-term success for foster youth.
