Ash grew up in the foster care system, experiencing five placements and overcoming significant challenges, including separation from their sister. Recognized as Scholar of the Year by FosterMore, Ash has actively contributed to writing two bills for Nevada's foster care system and is currently drafting an extended foster care bill. A member of the Youth Advisory Board since age 14, Ash has honed leadership skills while volunteering with various organizations, including the Northern Nevada Moses Project. Passionate about advocacy, they aspire to become a family law attorney, aiming to empower youth and improve the child welfare system in Nevada.
