Alexander Robbinson is a youth advocate, peer support specialist, and senior Emergency Medical Technician based in Oregon. Drawing from lived experience in the foster care system, including time in foster homes, group care, and psychiatric treatment, Alexander works to advance youth-centered, trauma-informed child welfare policy. He currently serves on the Oregon Youth Development Council, where he contributes to statewide advocacy efforts focused on improving outcomes for youth with complex behavioral health needs. In addition to advocacy work, Alexander brings frontline healthcare experience working as an EMT for Metro West, providing care and leadership in high-pressure environments. His work centers on elevating youth voice, preventing unnecessary institutionalization, and strengthening systems that support stability, dignity, and long-term well-being for foster youth.
