After 2 years in the Vermont foster care system, Miss Abrielle graduated from high school and currently has her Personal Care Attendant certification. Abrielle has been quite involved in community organizations over the years; she was a member of the Youth Development Committee, Youth Advisory Board of Vermont’s Youth Development Program.
She works with her peers to support steps towards improving the system for youth and has been involved in several youth conferences. Abrielle is a mentor to teens in the system and was a member of the Police Explorers Cadet Program for over four years where she engaged in several volunteer opportunities.
Miss Pierro was nominated to serve on the Executive Board of the Vermont Youth Development Committee as Treasurer and then President. She is interested in possibly pursuing a career in the healthcare field.
