At the age of 13 Aarieon was placed in a group home. At the age of 15 he was moved into a placement that was closer to his home county, and has been moved once after to another foster home. "I have had the opportunity to meet some exceptional, hard working, positive role models. I hope the lessons and examples I have seen and been taught will stick with me through the tough times of adulthood."

Aarieon has had volunteer experiences such as cleaning up a local church, helped with little league basketball, and has helped to train football players. He also is the Hockey Manager for the high school league, and also is the official team photographer and video archivist for his high school varsity team.

Aarieon is a sports fanatic. He likes to play football, basketball, and bowl, watch hockey, and works out at his local YMCA. "I read sports magazines." Aarieon will one day be a fire fighter.
