A’Aquila is entering her sophomore year at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. A “daddy’s girl,” A’Aquila’s father passed away due to cancer when she was 11 years old. A’Aquila continues to be a big sister to “the best little brother in the world,” and credits her ability to overcome obstacles to the care of loved ones. After 3 years in Pennsylvania’s foster care system, she aged out of foster care at the age of 21. Now, A’Aquila is on a path to a degree in Social Work and Mass Communications. She plans to use her larger-than-life personality to host her own radio show one day. A’Aquila loves to shop, loves pink nails, is a big sister…. and a foster kid.
