About this resource

The Chafee Education and Training Vouchers (commonly referred to as ETV) are funds that  help current and former foster youth pay college and training expenses (like books, application fee, transportation to class, etc).

These funds are granted to the Department of Human Services Independent Living Programs (ILPs).

You must apply for Financial Aid assistance through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying for the Chafee Education and Training Voucher.
