About this resource

Project 48 exists to provide support services to youth experiencing foster care, ages 7-23. Our desire is that all youth in the greater Portland area (Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties) would have access to brand new, brand name clothing and hygiene items to help ease their transition into or within the foster care system. We work toward this through our Essential Bags program providing essential items during vulnerable and traumatic transitions, and through our Life Skills Program's wraparound services to teens and young adults as they are navigating the complexities of transitioning out of the foster care system into adulthood.
