Portland Community College is committed to creating educational opportunities for students who have been in the foster care system. With the help of Neal Naigus and other caring staff, Portland Community College has created the PCC Fostering Success program, which supplies educational advocacy and opportunities to current and former foster youth transitioning into PCC and adulthood. PCC Fostering Success helps students access resources at PCC such as: academic advising, counseling, career planning, tutoring Program staff are also there to help students find any additional support they may need. Currently, PCC Fostering Hope is offering virtual enrollment support through text messaging, referral to campus-based resources, and a conduit to service providers.

- Must be a current, or former, foster youth.
