About this resource

Imagination House

Imagination House is a transitional housing program for female-identifying youth ages 18-20 years old. Youth must be in the current custody of DHS to be eligible. Youth living at Imagination House have the support of our dedicated staff to learn and develop independence skills, such as cooking, budgeting, being a renter, growing credit, and so much more. Staff assist youth with setting and obtaining goals that are essential to their long term growth and success. Youth in the program are responsible for maintaining a productive schedule, including at least 36 hours of school, work, or volunteerism. Thrive network partners with the Department of Human Services and our local ILP provider to support youth.

Imagination House served six youth in 2020. The average length of stay was 11 months and 80% of our residents moved into stable, independent housing after leaving the program!

If you are interested in referring a youth to Imagination House, please contact Thrive Housing Network for assistance. All referrals must be made through DHS.
