About this resource

A team of young adults who experienced foster care gathered to make a foster youth rights handbook. That group is known as the Ohio Youth Advisory Board (OYAB), and this is the newest edition of that handbook. It helps inform young adults in the foster care system about their rights and responsibilities, and teaches them how to talk to someone if those rights are violated. Most importantly, this handbook lets you know that there are people who care about you and are fighting for your success.
