FosterClub Outstanding Young Leaders

About this resource

The FosterClub Outstanding Young Leaders is an annual recognition program aimed at recognizing the success and achievements of young people who have experienced foster care.

Over the past 18 years, FosterClub has worked with countless young people from the foster care system who are true inspirations. These youth have persevered through challenging circumstances and are now finding different ways to give back to their community and disprove negative stereotypes about foster kids.

Young people must be aged 16 to 24 years old and must have spent some time in foster care in the United States. We are looking to celebrate and recognize young people who are engaged in local, state or national community service or advocacy. This could include activities such as youth boards, advisory committees, volunteering and service leadership.
