About this resource
The Delaware Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is an organization comprised of current and former foster care youth who share opinions, learn leadership and advocacy skills, and influence legislation related to the Delaware child welfare system through activity planning, fundraising, advocating on behalf of youth in care, and by shaping the annual conference each year. YAC works to enhance and improve the child welfare system, independent living programs, and community.
YAC is supported by the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF).
