Why Pledge Your Birthday?
On average, kids in foster care spend two birthdays in the system. Many young people describe birthdays as just another day—sometimes even a painful reminder of what they’re missing. But by pledging your birthday, you can bring joy and community to youth in foster care, letting them know they are celebrated and not alone.

- Get Ready – Before your big day, we’ll send you everything you need to launch an online or in-person fundraiser.
- Spread the Word – Share your fundraiser with friends and family via social media, email, text, or even at your birthday party!
- Celebrate & Give Back – Enjoy your special day knowing you’re making a difference for youth in foster care.
