FosterClub's Washington D.C. Policy Specialist, Kaysie Getty attended the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association reception to honor Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, to recognize his important leadership and work over the years to benefit children, specifically as it related to child welfare and children’s health.

FosterClub thanks Senator Hatch  for sponsoring the landmark Family First Prevention Services Act, with Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), and creating and sponsored the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) with then Senator Ted Kennedy.
