Are you interested in improving your state's implementation of the provision to cover former foster youth to the age of 26? Join a webinar which marks the launch of the Health Care for Former Foster Youth Campaign, a collaborative campaign designed to assist states in effective implementation of health care for older foster youth. We'll discuss six challenge areas the Campaign will focus on, including the youth application process, eligibility issues, data tracking, and youth outreach.

Rep. Karen Bass (CA) who introduced the Health Insurance for Former Foster Youth Act H.R. 4998 will give us a policy update. This legislation was designed to ensure former foster youth can keep health insurance in any state they live until age 26.  You will hear the youth perspective from Cody Rivera, Young Leader, Oregon's experience implementing the provision granting insurance, and from Advocates.

Join a select group of child welfare and Medicaid stakeholders, advocates, policymakers, and young leaders as we establish a peer learning community to help ensure all former foster youth have health care coverage to age 26.

Webinar presented by FosterClub working in collaboration with First Focus - State Policy And Reform Center (SPARC) and the Juvenile Law Center.
