Renee Morrison spent about 6 years in Ohio's Foster Care System.

At only twenty-three years old, Renee Morrison is already pursuing her Master’s degree in Fashion Journalism. Renee seems to be involved in just about everything. She has been involved in Youth for Change, is a member of the NAACP, Vice President of her Public Relations Club, and was President of her Resident Hall Association. As an aspiring Art Therapist, Renee has been involved in a Therapeutic Arts Program where she has mentored youth in the performing and visual arts. While in foster care, Renee participated in a similar Therapeutic Arts Program, which helped launch her on her current educational path of Fashion Journalism. She demonstrates empathy for all those who are underprivileged and has written articles and received training surrounding cultural poverty and domestic violence. Her open mindedness and creativity make her an outstanding advocate for the foster care community.
